Rhoda’s Language Hub is beautifully reflected in Mandarin as 小島語社 (“Little Island Language Club”).
The name carries special meaning for our founders: Rhoda is from Taiwan, while co-founder Jake comes from a small island in the Irish Sea. Though raised on different islands, both share a deep understanding that language was the bridge that made their connection possible.
At Rhoda’s Language Hub, we believe language is more than a tool for communication—it is a cultural lens through which we can better understand the world and one another with greater empathy.
This belief is at the heart of our platform.
We personally interview every teacher to ensure that they share our values, vision, and commitment to meaningful education.
